We are seeking a mechanical engineer to lead the mechanical engineering design team at HydroWorks. We are designing large water turbines, and therefore design experience with heavy rotating equipment is essential. You will be an engineer who has chosen to stay on the technical side of engineering with at least 10 to 15 years of active engineering experience behind you.

You will be capable of working in a team environment in what is effectively the Chief Engineer’s role and also leading by example. Ideally you will have good CAD skills and be able to drive ANSYS Mechanical or CosmosWorks at an advanced level. An understanding of fracture mechanics, metallurgy and other related design disciplines would also be useful. This position is an absolutely crucial role for our company,  and there will be a salary package consistent with this role.
